Sports TV broadcasting posts Rs. 7560 crore revenue in FY22: Report

The overall TV sports market was estimated at Rs.7,050 crore in FY21, and the same is expected to reach Rs.9,830 crore in FY26, the report said.

The report said that the growth trajectory in India is expected to continue with the increasing penetration of TV across NCCS AB demographics and the growing interest in sports.

Both traditional and new age businesses have turned the spotlight on sports broadcasting with this segment recording revenues of approximately Rs.7,560 crore in FY22, according to KPMG India report.
