Critics say numerology is a pseudoscience and should not be relied upon. What's your take on this?

Every science has critics and non-believers; however, it is important for us to learn from the gifts of nature.

It is important to look at ‘numerology’ as another stakeholder in the decision-making matrix which can be synergistically combined with modern science to future-proof business. We have proven case studies and real-life examples from Hindi Movie Industry which has leveraged and gained form this beautiful science in the last few decades. This is high time for other industries to learn from it as well. 

Furthermore, just to give an example, Golden Ratio also known as Money Magnet Ratio has been an essential component of an almost successful company's logo as well as present in nature as well. 

How do you see the impact of AI and other technology on Astrology & Numerology? Also, do you see any threat to practitioners from AI?

Well, I have a very different take on this. AI and other technological advancements are going to be a great booster for astrology and numerology per se. The simple reason for the same is that it is going to take away the time investment needed in mathematical calculations and experts can focus on interpretations more and make it more streamlined. 

Personally, I see an upsurge in growth in the segment with the advent of tech. 

Can you please share more about your journey in this field?

I started learning these occult sciences at the tender age of 6 years and invested close to one & half decade in learning and researching the subject. The primary focus was to research and evolve these sciences with synergistic combinations with modern science and retain the beauty of Vedas. 

In the early years, no one used to believe that a full-time career can be built upon these sciences. Hence, I also moved ahead into the academic journey and did a grad study in Pharmacy and worked in a strategy consulting role for around a decade-spanning across startups and MNCs. 

However, numerology and related occult sciences were a passion and continued to be a side hustle and weekend activity. 

In 2013, I started advising individuals offline primarily and later in 2018 moved it to online space as well. It continued to be a passion and side hustle until 2022 when I decided to quit my strategy consulting role and take up my passion as my full-time career.

To be honest, as of date, there is no study which has studied this market in detail. As per my personal estimates as well as interaction with KOLs, the market in India can be as big as around 40 Bn USD for advisory and consultancy services and another US$10-15 Bn for related services like Gemstones, Crystals and others. 

The primary challenge in understanding market size is,  it is an unorganized and well-segmented market. 

The global market should be around 400-500 Bn USD combined for both services and products within the occult sciences space. 

If we evaluate astrology and numerology as a component of the well-being industry, the market can be as big as 1.5 Trillion USD and growing exponentially. 

The market is growing exponentially and is expected to grow due to changes in population dynamics and lifestyle. 

Do you think astrology and numerology can be used in the stock market as well?

Certainly Yes, Globally there are many studies on NASDAQ and other exchanges where astrology and numerology are considered as the third pillar of understanding the market in addition to technical and fundamental analysis. 

The retrospective and prospective studies on NSE and BSE are quite less as of date, however, with technology coming into play, I see it gaining a lot of momentum. 

Personally, this is one of my research areas and have shared a few tips in public as educational research-based calls and they have clicked well. However, I do avoid giving this as a professional service as I am not a registered SEBI advisor.
