According to the most recent news, all restaurants and hotels in Uttarakhand will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week till January 2, 2023.

Meanwhile, the state administration stated that only travellers with previous hotel reservations will be permitted to enter Nainital and Mussoorie.

According to sources, the state government has also granted its approval in this subject. The directive also applies to tea shops, dhabas, and other food establishments.
This action is in response to the need to make it easier for tourists to remain in the region during this time of year.
The DGP also held a review meeting through video conference with police officials from Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal, Tehri Garhwal, and Nainital districts to go over preparations and traffic arrangements for the New Year celebrations.
While hotels and restaurants will stay open 24 hours a day until January 2, 2023, only travellers with previous hotel reservations will be permitted to travel to Mussoorie and Nainital. Traffic arrangements have also been developed for the benefit of both tourists and locals. Additional parking spaces and route diversion are being planned ahead of time to ensure that there are no severe traffic issues during this period.
