In Abu Dhabi, Modon has opened a new luxury desert resort.

The resort, which is located in the Al Dhafra region, is designed for families and individuals looking to reconnect with the spectacular natural landscape in comfort and luxury. It offers an immersive desert experience with a choice of private one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas that blend deluxe living with eco-friendly elements and the desert.
According to a Modon statement, each room at Bab Al Nojoum - Bateen Liwa Resort includes a private plunge pool, deck loungers, a terrace, and a fire pit with unobstructed views of the sand dunes.

The 50 sq m one-bedroom villa can accommodate three campers, the 86 sq m two-bedroom villa can accommodate five, and the 102 sq m three-bedroom villa can accommodate a party of seven.

The resort also provides a variety of cultural, wellness, and activities to appeal to the demands of nature and adventure-inspired adults and children alike, against the backdrop of undulating sand dunes deep in a serene desert setting, it added.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, officiated in the presence of Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Department of Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Modon Properties, CEO Bill O'Regan, and other authorities.

Bab Al Nojoum - Bateen Liwa Resort will serve to improve the eco-tourism industry and increase Al Dhafra's portfolio of creative projects, as well as boost the region's potential as a significant destination on the UAE's tourist landscape, according to the company.

"The launch of Bab Al Nojoum - Bateen Liwa Resort comes at a time when the Al Dhafra area is seeing tremendous momentum in the building of excellent touristic and residential destinations, in accordance with the government's growth objectives and expansion plans," he added.
Jassem Mohamed stated that the launch demonstrates the company's dedication to creating unrivalled attractions that would boost Abu Dhabi's status on the global stage.

"Through our zero-waste, carbon-free, and plastic-free strategy, our world-class projects and attractions will continue to assist strengthen the emirate's tourist infrastructure while complying to high environmental standards," he said.
