MK Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, was hospitalised after testing positive for Covid-19.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin was brought to hospital on Thursday, two days after testing positive for the coronavirus

According to a report, Stalin was taken to the Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet, Chennai, for investigations and observation.

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi wished Stalin a fast recovery on Wednesday.

"I learned with great anxiety that you had tested positive for Covid-19," he wrote to Stalin in a letter. "As a dynamic public leader with substantial public touch, you are subject to this virus." I wish you good health and a fast recovery."

N Rangasamy, the Chief Minister of Puducherry, and O Panneerselvam, the previous Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, both prayed for Stalin's rapid recovery.

 

He was taken to Chennai's Kauvery Hospital for further examination and monitoring.
