Coal production (weight: 10.33 per cent) increased by 12.0 per cent in September, 2022 over September, 2021, while Crude Oil production (weight: 8.98 per cent) declined by 2.3 per cent in September, 2022 over September, 2021.
Steel production increased by 6.7 per cent in September, 2022 over September, 2021, the data said.
The combined Index of Eight Core Industries increased by 7.9 per cent (provisional) in September 2022 as compared to the Index of September 2021.

Natural Gas production (weight: 6.88 per cent) declined by 1.7 per cent in September, 2022 over September, 2021, while Petroleum Refinery production (weight: 28.04 per cent) increased by 6.6 per cent in September, 2022 over September, 2021.
Steel production increased by 6.7 per cent in September, 2022 over September, 2021, the data said.
