Bawankule reportedly said that the polls will be fought under the leadership of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis and prepared to win 45 LS seats and over 200 Assembly seats. 

The BJP indicated that it will run in the Mumbai municipal elections alongside the Shinde group, the reports said.

Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest 2024 Maharashtra assembly and Lok Sabha (LS) elections in alliance with Eknath Shinde’s ‘Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena’, according to reports.
