Sensex rises 443 points; Nifty ends above 15,500 levels

The Indian equity Indices ended 400 points higher led by automobile stocks.
Finally, BSE Sensex ended at 52,265.72 higher 443.19 points, while CNX Nifty closed at 15,556.65 up 143.35 points.
The gainers on Sensex and Nifty were Maruti surged 7%. HeroMotocorp and Eicher Motors rose 6%, while M&M gained 4% higher.
The losers on Sensex and Nifty were RIL, which was down 1.4%.PowerGrid and Coal India were 1% lower.
