Sensex, Nifty open higher on global cues

The Indian equity Indices opened higher amid positive global cues.

BSE Sensex trading at 53,382.17 higher 654.19 points, while CNX Nifty closed at 15,881.40 up 182.15 points.

The gainers on Sensex and Nifty were HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra surge 4%. Wipro and Infosys gained 3% higher.

L&T stock was up 2%.
