Rajasthan's first cruise service is expected to begin in March.

If all goes according to plan, Rajasthan's inaugural cruise will likely begin ferrying visitors on Ajmer's Ana Sagar lake in March. This will add to the district's already popular attractions, which include the mausoleum of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti and the Brahma temple.

People will be able to hold small celebrations and parties on the boat once it is operational, in addition to riding on the double-decker cruise.

According to rumours, the ship would transport 150 guests. An official in the know-how noted that the cruise service, for which a work tender was issued last year and which is scheduled to be completed by February, will most likely begin in the first week of March. According to reports, the service will earn the company INR 66.5 lakh per year.
According to the Corporation's Assistant Engineer Ravindra Saini, the cruise's course will differ from that of the lake's ferry boats. Ticket prices have yet to be determined, which will be done by the contractor with the Corporation's permission.
According to reports, the ship would include a restaurant that can be reserved for small parties and celebrations. Another official stated that the work order was submitted to the business in February of last year, with a 15-month time frame to complete the trip.
The lake's surrounding region has also been upgraded with works such as paths, cafés, and more, and it is already seeing a large visitor footfall.
